Does anyone know if the C&J Belgrave (Captoe on the 337 Last) is a bulkier shoe than the C&J Whitehall (Captoe on the 330 Last)?

Is the sole of the Belgrave thicker than that of the Whitehall or are they pretty much the same shoe (excluding color) as far as size or bulkiness is concerned.

If anything, C&J's last 337 is less bulky, i.e. more elongated and "slimmer" (visually) than last 330. 337 might also be slightly higher in the toe box, (but I haven't measured that.) At one time all "handgrades" were made on 330; then 337 was developed and has almost (bar a few models) usurped the older last.

If you have slim feet, you might be able to take 337, ½ size smaller, as the last has more toe space. But that varies very much from person to person and I do not want to put up any statements (chiselled in stone).

There is no real difference in the sole between the two styles in question.
