Buzz Rickson & William Gibson Athletic Shoes

William Gibson, always the fan of a faceless and logo-less product that exceeds all expectations; something timeless and classic that most across the world can relate to. Last week we brought you William Gibson's Head Porter bags, and this week we've got his new line of Athletic Shoes.

Available both in Low-Cut and High-Cut models, these sneakers are a fresh take on a classic shoe with a nod to military gear from the Buzz Rickson camp.

There is also a William Gibson party coming up at Self Edge on November 9th with the man himself, more information to follow.

Available now in-store and via our online store, check the online store for sizing information and more photos and specifications:

Head Porter x Buzz Rickson x William Gibson Bags

Head Porter, Japan's most famous bag company comes together with Buzz Rickson (Sugar Cane) and William Gibson to bring us this new collection of bags. This may be Head Porter's most ambitious project yet...
The fabrics used for the collection is nylon originally developed for military bulletproof vests, which is 5 times stronger
than regular nylon fabric, and genuine horse leather made for Buzz Rickson's A-2 jackets.

Both bags come with a Porter MAG light as a zipper pull, various inner hidden pockets, gusseted outer pockets, removable shoulder straps, and more.
You can't ask for a better built or more well designed bag from any company.

There is also a William Gibson party coming up at Self Edge on November 9th with the man himself, more information to follow.

Both the shoulder bag and the laptop bag (book bag) are now available in-store and via the online store in extremely limited quantities. Check the online store for more photos and specs on the bags:

SIGHHHH another pair of Japanese sneakers that don't go up to a US 12. These will join Coming Soon as sneakers I would buy in a second, but can't due to apparenty hatred to people with large feet. Look dope as hell though.

They make a 10.5 and if you look at the site it says they run between 1 and 1.5 sizes big. There's a likelihood that you'd be able to fit into these sneakers.

They only go up to a 9.5 - essentialy a 10.5 since they run one size large.

You mean PF Flyers right? I'm sure though that these are EXACTLY the same as Chucks, especially in regards to production, fit, materiasl and durability.

no i mean chucks and **** the durability argument.

there is no way that 1 pair of those will last through 5 pairs of chucks for the same price.

Chucks are still but that overpriced crap is worse.

Why spend money on jeans? I mean, are Flatheads REALLY better than 10 pairs of $30 levis? Come on guys!

You're joking right? The difference between levis and flatheads are in the details: the specific cuts, features and and the denim quality. The same difference between these shoes and Chucks.

nope, fail at life.

Are you gonna tell me that a flat pebbled bottom and a strip of leather warrants the huge price difference?

No.

btw part of why flatheads are so expensive is because of how they are made.

I doubt there is more then one way to make a pair of shoes.
