Looks good, Stazy.

I go over my eyebrows w a number 2 attachment every time I cut my hair. Helps with mine. Granted, my eyebrows are somewhat light in color, and more prone to growing long than they are thick per se.

I've had a buzz cut for years. Looks good and is comfortable. Also, I'm lazy so it's great for me.

I've been wearing buzz cuts off and on for a while, currently have a buzz still going after cutting my hair a month ago, to almost nothing.

I look similar to you. Pretty easy cut, and looks ok, as long as your not fat for the most part.

Some look better when they do go short. Justin Timberlake is one example. When he buzzed his hair it made him look older, more grown up:

Now I'm not really a fan of his but I think he's able to make it look cool and not dorky. I know I've seen guys who do it and it looks terrible on them (a friend of mine started doing it after he started to go bald, but he had kind of a pointy head so the look doesn't really him). Again, it all comes down to head shape.

It can even help fill out your face if you have a narrow chin. Such as Ryan Gosling:

Ewan McGregor is an example of someone who has the right head shape for a buzz cut:

The trick for me is to not do it too short. I think some guys do it for the first time and do it without a guard and on the lowest setting making them look like Cancer patients.

Ewan McGregor doesn't look so good in that picture. His eyes and nose seem enlarged. (The problem probably is that his nose is a bit large relative to his mouth and thin lips.)

Justin does it well. The buzzcut of darker hair, along with the facial hair, makes him look older than he would with the boyish curls and boyish features.

Of course, they are celebrities. A buzzcut is not a good idea for most businesspeople, and most people don't have celebrity facial features.

I've been rocking a #2 or #3 for about a year now. I have my girlfriend do it for me every few weeks. I spent the last three years dropping major cash on hair cuts from good stylists and never found one that I thought looked good and natural on me. I love the buzz.

Bumping old threads is fun. Just started buzzing again because I got sick of hair. #1 all around.

By buzz-cut, do you mean the same number all over? That only looks good on a small range of people, and has a certain look to it which is not so versatile, and does look a bit like a bad kids haircut. Problem with same number all over is you don't get a nice "square" outline on the side of the head, it sort of "rounds" out which doesn't look so good IMO. Really only works with say a 1 or 2 all over, which is probably too short on top for most people.

I have a sort of flat-top. 1 up the sides (high), tapering to 2/3 on top, but then flattened. Quite subtle, but gives some shape to the face. I used to have a number 3 all on top, and 1 up the sides, which also works quite well. You can fade between numbers, or go for a distinct edge at the change (like the marines!)
