Hello All,

I am in need of my first pair of decent shoes and i'd like to spend around $300-400.

Since it is getting close to black friday, i was thnking about going into NYC to see if I can get anything on sale. I'm seriously considing the AE McAllister in merlot. Does anyone know if their store would be having a sale?

Any other store recomendations would be appreaciated. Thanks!

I would much rather buy them from a store. I do not know what size I would be and i do not want to take the risk.

I also have a wedding on Sat that I would like to wear the new pair of shoes to, so buying online for that reason as well might be out of the question.

Buy multiple sizes and return the ones that don't fit. I am not sure, but shoes don't seem to be a Black Friday type of item.

I was under the impression that the Barneys brand shoes are not the best. Any recomendations or warnings on the other manufacturers they sell?
