Buying raw selvage jeans in Tokyo and Osaka

Where are the places to go to to get a couple of pairs of jeans in Tokyo? I'm considering stores in Osaka and Tokyo, maybe Fukuoka. I prefer APC New Standard type dark, raw, selvage jeans in a boxy, minimalist cut.

well most of those sites are for tokyo

i'm sure you could find evisu in osaka
is vari in osaka? or is it in okayama...

and also if you're going to japan to get some jeans,
please don't get apc's. make your trip worthwhile and get something like denime, burgus at hinoya, studio D'artisans, etc.

wanted to get so much when i went but concert schedule was so crazy and the mandatory tours were retarded

Thanks. Which of these fit like APCs though? Any specific recommendations?

can't really say much but skull's 5010xx or 5507xx seem to fit pretty closely to the new standard from the pics on sufu. check them out at the fabfour store in harajuku

safest bet is to go to hinoya (americaya as well since it's on the same street) at ueno and bears at shimokitazawa (someone correct my spelling). you might find something you like that's outside of the new standard fit

Thanks for the recommendations. After some vigorous correspondence regarding directions to Ueno and calling in gifts owed by from various friends in Japan, my pack mule brought me:

45 RPM Sorahiko
45 RPM Sorahiko limited edition (black/gray dye, 12 oz denim)
Sugarcane Okinawa
Sugarcane Okinawa rainbow limited edition (11 oz denim)
Warehouse Standards
Iron Heart 634S

I have a pair of the blak/grey and they are great.
Now you just have to start wearing all that...

Yeah, no clue how to begin. Just curious that the Sorahiko is cut looser than the others.
