Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum but I've been benefiting from your expertise from your expertise and opinions for a few months now. I've been looking at Hugo Boss suits on ebay. Just from a few searches it looks like Hugo isn't getting much respect on these boards but I don't really have the money to spend $800+ on a suit at the moment. Ones on ebay are around $450 CDN which is probably close to the top of my price point, however they're all drop 6. My problem is that I like fairly tailored clothing (wide shoulders, thin waist) and am wondering is it possible to tailor larger pants significantly? I was fitted for a 40R jacket but I wear 31" pants. If it possible to tailor 34" pants to 31", and if so, will it essentially destroy the tapered look of the pants?
I'm assuming most people are going to suggest MTM but I'm thinking that most MTM suits will be upwards of $700+ which is a bit out of my price range.
