Buying my first suit, unsure about trouser fit

There seems to be a lot of conflicting opinions about trouser fit. GQ has them fitting practically like skinny jeans, but I always had the impression they were supposed to be a bit looser... like, slack. Not really sure.

This is a possible suit, I'd appreciate feedback about the pant fit (too loose? too tight?). Thanks guys! Apologies for poor resolution.
