    Hi,

Just joined this forum for the express purpose of being able to buy some denim. Unfortunately, it requires that I post twice before I can send someone a private message.

    http://www.thefabricmall.com/denim/s...e_denim_fabric

Is this not legit? Or do you just want a cheaper price?

    I don't know if there's non-legit fabric..all I know, there are japanese, american, indian, chinese, italian,etc..
I think it's too expensive for 30" width japanese selvedge fabric..I need below USD 10 per yard ( more than 30" width)

I don't know any jobbers but I had a dream of making some of my own jeans once...never ended up buying most of the machinery I needed but I bought 3 yards of green line 14 oz from these guys. Right now they list almost exclusively Cone but it's still great stuff. http://shuttleloomdenim.bigcartel.com/ Also just found some red line Japanese on there. Don't know what mill it came from though.

Does anyone know if the denim at Shuttleloomdenim.bigcartel.com is Raw/Dry?

Their web site is a bit aloof.

I tried emailing them but no response.

I want a pair of raw jeans, and I am tired of crotch rips (as with every pair I get) so I'm looking to buy a few yards of Raw denim and take it to my tailor to make me a pair.

Please let me know what you think of their denim.
