I think I would, and I think our SoCal would have done too, but probably for different reasons.

I can't say I buy my clothes for women. Heck, I imagine most of the girls at my college probably think my Samurai's are cheap Levi's. I make most of my purchases because I like something about the aesthetic or the construction/quality. I enjoy playing with fashion/style because I like constructing looks from the individual pieces. The personal enjoyment I get out of it is what keeps me interested. But I'd probably consider myself more of a geek when it comes to clothing. I like to study fashion so I can better understand and construct my own style.

GQgeek ? That you ?

I voted somewhat important, it's kinda nice turning heads when you walk in a bar. That said, clothes don't land women, confidence does. The clothes might pique their interest long enough for you to get a conversation going.

Style wise I only dress for myself, because of interest and taste. I do however think that I will look good/interesting enough to have a positive effect on more fashion oriented/ open minded women (and when I go to clubs/bars I tend to wear a somewhat more flattering shirt atleast, within the bounds of what I normally wear

). The idea however to dress just for women, or trying to change how you look to fit some kind of stereotype or norm is just absurd imo.

I guess that's why I wear what I wear. In my mind, I wear what I look best in- but the purpose of that is to attract attention to myself for obviously selfish reasons. I'd say I get more complements from men when I'm going out than women, but it also depends on the crowd.

dressing nice depends on what the local area thinks is nice. Your in San diego how many times have you seen a guy dressed from head to toe in hollister or a&f sporting a hot chick. So i guess some people do it for the girls but i think realistically people who dress nice or above average do it in part to impress others as well as themselves. It just depends on which percent outweighs the other. The guy with a girlfriend or wife might be dressed 60% for himself and 40% for his wife or misstress.

I would say that "looking attractive" is definitely a consideration (though not the primary one) when I'm considering clothing. Whether this boils down to "dressing for women" or not, I'm not really sure.

One thing I will say, though: once I'm flossin that floral print dress, bitches start clawing each other just trying to reach me. Had to stop wearing it outdoors so I wouldn't cause a riot.

It's not important at all. If I wanted to dress to get women I'd wear 501s, boots, and a white tee every day.

I think they just want to know where you got it from.
