If Canada post doesn't offer you any basic protections, you are SOL. There's not a base insurance on packages? Only a dbag would get on you for something that is clearly not your fault. The refund thing is odd, but again, out of your control, just be apologetic and it will work itself out.

Ebay Customer Service... I just got off the phone after calling them about a listing which they removed for 'misuse of a brand name'. My case has been escalated and I can expect a decision within about 5 days to determine whether my listing is legit or if I am brand name spamming.

Apparently the photo in my listing is inconclusive.
