Basically pointed out the exchange of messages first, proving that her frustration prior to her leaving feedback was all customs related. Showed that her feedback was false because she didn't pay what I was asking, she offered me 45%, essentially naming her own fair price. I also mentioned that paying too much is buyers remorse and not my problem.

They agreed.

I sent a package First Class to Canada on Friday. It was returned to sender because I messed up with the packaging. Can I just reprint the label or do I have to buy a new label and get a refund for the old one?

You have to buy a new one.

What do you do when eBay representatives straight up lie to you? I even recorded the conversation, and they still won't side with me. A buyer said that a Canali suit I sold was longer than i described. He said it didn't fit him. I clearly say I don't accept returns, so I called into eBay, and the lady said I should accept the return. She said if the measurement was accurate, I could just provide photos, and I would not actually have to issue the refund, because I did provide an accurate description. So, I accepted the return, and sure enough my initial measurement was accurate. But, now eBay is telling me that I can't do a faulty return. I even have the recording from the initial conversation, and I played it to them, and they don't care. They just keep apologizing that they gave me inaccurate information, but they won't help me. I have them on recording on these conversations as well, admitting that they gave me inaccurate information, but still saying they can't do anything. What kind of crap is this? I'm making a compilation of all these recording, buy this is getting ridiculous.

Maybe you could ask to reach the CSR you recorded, explain the situation to him, and ask him for a resolution before you try his supervisor.

These are exactly the reasons I eventually just started accepting returns with no questions asked. I found the arguing on both ends to be exhausting and counterproductive.

One nice thing about offering Free returns is that if the buyer falsifies their return reason or send the item back damaged, you can keep a percentage of the $$ and eBay will back you within reason. Fortunately I've only had to use the feature once or twice to withhold the original shipping for incorrect returns reason selection.

On the down side, I've had to refund $14K over the last 12 months.....but most things re-re-sell quickly.

It was explained to me by the appeals dept that returns due to measurements are always sided with the buyer because they don't physically handle the product
Same with inaccurate color

I learned the hard way as well re inaccurate measurements (I was right, still agreed with the buyer)

My favorite Negative feedback ever. I almost didn't call to have it removed.

This reminds me of the time I was selling a pair of GMTO shoes and the buyer started messaging me all upset because they had stalked me here or on reddit and found out I was selling for more than I had paid. They ended up paying my listing price. Honestly I would've accepted a lower offer (I always list higher than what I actually expect to get) but I didn't negotiate because they creeped me out.

That’s one decent reason not to post what you paid for things that you’re reselling. FWIW, I would’ve blocked that person. Did they give you negative feedback?

No, and I'm not really a frequent enough seller that I think very hard about things like that. I really only sell stuff when I'm clearing space in my closet and the like.
