I’d almost convinced myself to start selling stuff online again, I should probably not look at this thread. Haha.
It’s been about a year since my last feebay sale. The supplemental income was nice but the headaches outweighed the benefits during the pandemic. Maybe this month I’ll start up again.

Shouldn’t be a problem getting this removed but here’s one for the block list.

So this has been harder to get removed than I expected. Any tips or am I just stuck with this? Who has a current eBay phone number? I haven't needed to call in a long time and I haven't been able to find one.

When I follow your footer link to your eBay store, I do not see that neg anywhere. I see the sold listing, but not any feedback for it. Perhaps it's already been removed?

The brazen entitlement of this person is simply stunning. She (or he) admits she received it in a timely fashion. She then admits that, although it didn't fit, she waited a minimum of 33 days (!) to attempt a return. She admits knowing that this was outside your return policy. She's upset because you didn't treat her how Mommy always said she deserves, so she negs you. She doesn't even seem embarrassed about it. Unbelievable.

i want it now.gif

I'd be half-tempted to let that neg stand, just so others could see the futility of dealing with her.

ha! Yep I just got the email from eBay saying they removed it. I had to go a few different routes but eventually got them to admit it seemed like buyer’s remorse. Amazing how that term really does get them to remove the feedback.

Wish that term still got cases closed for us

I thought you were exclusively on Mercari now…

Seems like Mercari kind of sucks in some opposite ways, I just found out. Sellers can have huge numbers of listings ended by the buyer or Mercari for just not shipping, misrepresenting things, etc… and then because it was ‘cancelled’ (even though the waste of time still happened) it doesn’t effect their feedback at all, and you can’t leave any whatsoever.

My latest purchase, a dishonest lady mailed a ~ $30 shirt that appeared to be a great deal. It was misrepresented in terms of size, era, material, and brand, etc — so not an oversight. Mercari just eats these smaller amounts, seller keeps the $$, and goes on to do it again. Weird.

Also: quick question:

What’s the safe way to end a Buy It Now listing? (That won’t ding you). Is it start price is wrong, listing contained an error, no longer available?

Google shows me thousands of pages about ending auctions early. :(

Thanks…

You can't be dinged for ending a BIN listing. Any option will work. "Contained an error" is as good as any.

Mercari, posh, FB marketplace and eBay. I just Use a cross listing app now, most of my sales come from posh and mercari lately

One for your block lists:
schmonic

Buys a 90s versus shirt described as having an oversized chest and shoulders. Claims not as described because the chest and shoulders are too big to match the tagged size...

Apparently it's my fault he doesn't have the physique to hang with these guys
