Don't you just love when the unresponsive buyer immediately reaches out to cancel their purchase when an unpaid item case gets open. That's when I become the unresponsive seller.

Biggest problem on ebay is that sellers usually just cancel and then those idiots never get strikes against them.

I didn't think you could once the unpaid case was opened, but then again, I've never tried.

Block this guy ASAP. Opened up a SNAD return for leather polo croc shoes. Then returns me NWT $10 walmart shoes.

Any advice how I won't be out $500?

eBay just refunded him in full for the shoes he stole. So I am out $500 I have a SNAD return on my account and $10 New pair of walmart shoes.

I had the same exact scenario... eBay merchant's support explained, that you supposed to just refund the buyer and deduct upto 50% of the original price. If you open a case they will close it, siding with the buyer.

Doesn't matter, if you open the return in front of witnesses, on camera, the police station, or the SCOTUS, ebay does not care...

Get a $22 offer on a TF tie. Yeah I know the BIN is insanely high, but I like the tie. Anyway, I just reject because nobody that low balls that low is worth negotiating with ime.

Another low ball offer today, rejected as well.

Followed up with a $1 offer.

When I go to print shipping label it gives me an error message to only use 40 characters in an address. I canceled this order from the same buyer for this reason a couple days ago. Buyer says to just tweak it a little. If I tweak address even at buyers request I still wont be covered correct? Anything else I can try?

I was told by an Ebay rep some time ago that if the buyer provides an alternate, you are covered. I would not recommend tweaking it yourself.
