If it fits, it ships (rra, for the record)
Better give it some mouses for the trip. I assume you've seen the Maru videos on the youtubes?
Edit: you're not shipping a dead cat to someone, are you...?
I guess this was more of a FYI than anything, because it's information that we really can't do anything about. It's out of our hands once we ship it within our stated time window. Comments to those sorts of articles on e-commerce websites are always of the whingy 'ebay crooks out to screw me..fuck this planet..' variety, so I wouldn't put much stock in that. I can't imagine any current site with the reach of ebay, so there's really nothing to do here except take it.
Bought something online that I am returning - was given a link to FedEx to print out a SmartPost pre-paid return label...which I know is partly handled by FedEx and partly by USPS.
Question is: who do I give the package to initially - USPS or FedEx? I'm so confused...
Nevermind - either USPS or FedEx. Now I know.
I recently returned something that had a smartpost return label that came along with the package. Didn't have to print anything. Dropped it off at the post office, no problem.
Even better than my anecdotal information: http://www.fedex.com/us/smart-post/returns.html
Took longer than I thought, but I've got a test version of a new feature you guys might be interested in.
I know some of you, like Spoo, run websites that have your listings on them, but for those that don't I thought you might be interested in a seller homepage that's less ugly and clunky than the standard ebay one, and that you have a little more control over. So I threw one together with Haberdashboard.
I went ahead and made one for everyone here (if I missed you, lemme know and I'll add you, only takes about ~5 min):
I plan on eventually adding some sort of customization dashboard, but for now if there's anything you wanna change about your store, shoot me a message or an email ([email protected]
Still in beta right now, but once I get the bugs worked out and have gotten some feedback from the people here, I'll add a "stores" link to the front page of haberdashboard.com, fwiw.
Lemme know what you think.
Found that link as well, finally. Thank you, though.
Also, yeah, eBay seems to be the only real venue for our wares...if I start getting dinged on things for no good reason I suppose I'll just opt out of the programs, close the store, and sell & ship how and when I want...not worry about TSR's and final value discounts etc.
I really like that storefront view for everyone! Nice clean layout with pictures being the focal point! Thanks so much!
Love it. And if it ever morphs into a full-on replacement for ebay, sign me up.
I'll definitely be using that link when I need to have a "store website" and what I use to link people to my eBay items from now on. Thank you for the include and the awesome page.
Dang I just love that. I had this Baldessarini suit sitting on eBay with BINOBO for at least two months with 0 offer, 0 questions, 0 nothing (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/281359390544?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1559.l2649)
And now this guy comes and just hit BIN o__O
It makes me wonder if my price was right now
Had the exact same dilemma this morning haha dropped off at Post Office because I wasn't paying attention, then was cleaning up emails and noticed label was from Fedex. Good to know!
Great! If you want to tweak the colors or the layout (or want to do something like use a custom domain) so it's a little more "yours", just lemme know. More than happy to make adjustments for anyone that wants 'em.
Ha. One step at a time
