I guess I am more wondering what type of purchase feedback I should leave

This is more along the lines of what i was asking. I do not feel right leaving positive feedback but I know how damaging negative feedback can be and I don't think it warrants negative feedback. Is neutral feedback negative by association?

Yes. Contact the seller first, if he's a total dick about it, then neutral/neg it if you feel it's warranted.

A buyer messaged me about sending sunglasses to the UAE. Can I send these Priority Mail, and will it be safe?

I've sent a few items to the UAE. Never had a problem. I generally feel OK shipping internationally if the buyer has decent feedback (except i won't ship to countries like Ukraine or most of Africa)

The buyer only has two feedback, but they're both recent, and one of them is for a $1200 Chanel jacket. I doubt the buyer would build up a feedback history with a purchase like that just to rip me off on a $75 pair of sunglasses, but maybe one of you can set me straight.

i generally ship EMS, but that just be my own paranoia. Would be about $38 for a small package like that. See if he is interested?

Forgive my ignorance, but what is EMS?

So regarding the buyer that claimed he never got a suit despite tracking showing delivered a little over 3 weeks back, just got this message from him:

What's the right response? Ignore, sorry, sorry and partial refund? Why would it take him so long to talk to a postal worker if he really cared that much?

You aren't obligated to do anything but maybe respond and sympathize with him. Throwing him a partial refund could go a long way towards making him happy if you think he'd ever possibly be a repeat customer, but it's your call.

I know I'm not obligated to do anything. Doubtful he'd be a repeat customer, my inventory/sales aren't stable or consistent enough to really promote it. If it was legitimately stolen, I wouldn't really mind sending the $30 which is roughly half the price, but I'd hate to think this is some trick he plays to get sympathy refunds.... I need to stop assuming the worst in every ebay buyer
