    On a similar topic :

I was away for work and forgot to make it known to eBay (actually I never looked how to do it) and so I told a buyer that I could only ship the 1400$ Canali jacket (sold for 49.99) in two days :

    - "I would prefer shipment be sent, with appropriate packaging, as soon as possible. Will the shipping fee be waived due to the two delays?"

Love that guy. He has 0 feedback btw. I'm playing a dangerous game ahah

Just checked and you have this on your auctions: "Seller ships within 2 days after receiving cleared payment." so if you'll be able to ship within the 2 day window, you're all good.

Yeah I know that's why I kindly asked for a small delay.

I ended up shipping Expedited for just 1$ more so he should be okay lol. I don't understand Canada Post pricing -_-

On that note, maybe we need an "eBay sellers' tax discussion" thread. I know some of you are doing enough business to claim income, and presumably deductions.

ANY income is enough to claim income and deductions as far as the IRS is concerned.

    "Discuss with your tax professional."

In reality it would probably be helpful every spring, for folks doing it for the first time to get a jump start.

You're not french! You're french canadian!

If I picked you up and threw you in france, they'd have a harder time understanding you than me!
