Working for me still.
No clue, never heard from him again
All fixed now. Man, I was very impressed by the excellent service and swift communication from the eBay domain guy.
LOL I know that Wes, but was asking more about shipping outside continental US.
Also, does ebay charge a fee for revising a listing?

Is it available to ship if purchased now??
I'm guessing he's inquiring if I would end the auction early? I thought that's a no-no?
Only if you add a feature, such as bold title, highlighting etc. Any of the other cost features would be unavailable once the listing has begun. There used to be a charge to add photos, but they are all free now. Description changes are free too. Once you have bids, the original description is locked, but you can add to it in a new window.
I get your store
its fixed now.
You can end an auction early, but you have to pay the final value fees based on the highest bid price. If the Hawaiian guy is the high bidder you can opt to end listing now and sell to highest bidder. But they are likely to go higher so I wouldn't. Just tell him it is against your policy to end an auction once it has bids and that he is more than welcome to place a bid.
solid advice. yea I didn't really want to end early unless he plans to double the current bid or something ridiculous. Kind of curious what it's going to end at. I've been refreshing the "my ebay" page continuously since I listed it and I can't stop. I wish some of the 38 watchers would just bid... I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on it when it's ending sunday!
An ebay buyer has opened a case against me (value over $250). I need to submit proof of signature confirmation. Is the following enough ??
Proof of Delivery
This notice serves as proof of delivery for the shipment listed below.
PORTLAND, OR, US
Thank you for giving us this opportunity to serve you.

Sounds like that's what they are asking for. The email or webpage from the UPS site verifying the delivery.
Previously-unregistered lurker chiming in to say thank you for this thread. Especially for the Th-Su 10-day advice, and the tip about removing the laces from shoes before shipping, which I would never have thought of doing. (I really almost never order anything online, certainly never men's shoes, so I'd never experience such a problem myself. I wonder how many of the sellers here have learned lessons, good or bad, from the way things you bought online were packed?)
I also have a legit question: on an auction with a BIN, is it possible to set free shipping for BIN only? I really wanna do that. The more things I can do to encourage BIN, the better I feel setting a higher BIN price, and the more comfortable I feel setting a lower start price. Makes free shipping both a enticement and a reward.
Well, maybe it was because of Black Friday, but yesterday was one of those days.
Three separate messages on three different items:
Are you sure the sleeves are that long, because if they are, it won't work for me.
I didn't mean to bid on the item because it's too small for me. Please cancel my bid.
I didn't know realize the item was in that condition. If I win I won't be sending you money. (I've taken the liberty of translating this in to unbroken english after 4 message exchanges).
On the bright side I had 2 BIN within the first 24 hours.
I believe you're only option is to put somewhere in the auction body that you will provide free shipping with buy it now. Then at the end of the auction, if someone used buy it now, you would send them an invoice and manually adjust the shipping charge.
+1 - no way that I know of to split the paid / free shipping based upon the buy it now option.
That is the only way I have seen it done. Only problem is then you cannot use the "require instant payment." I have had buyers many times click "Buy it Now" and not pay. I guess its a balance of not worrying about delayed BIN payment vs the draw-in for free shipping.
