Reminds me a bit of "shrinkage" in the sales world. I know that's a risky term to use on a forum full of males, but roughly applies. There may be a more appropriate business term, but I'm in public education as a profession, not sales or business!

Sounds like he bought it to use once and then wanted to return it. I would check for tags and check and see if it looks used. If it looks like it has been worn, I would fight it.

Trying to figure out the flair you want for your picture so it stands out is really, really hard.

I think the top photo is using a slip in the knot, that's why you don't see the end (it's doubled back on itself and tucked away). I do that myself so that untying takes a half second instead of two, lol.

I like the second photo and wouldn't add more light; I really like the fade into black, been thinking about switching up my ties to something like that anyways.

Sometimes I browse your tie listings and wonder where titling ties ranks on your list on things you like about this.

    Thanks guys, really appreciated.

Has anyone successfully incorporated google analytics/other tracking info into listings for link tracking and such? I've been wanting info about 'Click here for more X' info ever since I put that link there in the first place.

I really like words, and titling them is one of the few creative processes in this whole thing, so I do enjoy that probably more than most do. I think of adjectives when I first see the piece.

I just stumbled across this resource while googling "what is repp" Will definitely help!

Still a bit confused though, would this be Repp or Ribbed (or neither?). No idea why the pic was turned when it uploaded. Sorry.

Lately I've ended up with a dud every time I've gone thrifting. 5 times and counting. Not a streak I'm proud of.

    Pinhole in a suit pant.
    Pinhole in a suit jacket.
Paul Stuart jacket bought at 4x thrift prices, lining shredded.
Paul Stuart jacket bought at 4x thrift prices, obvious signs of very shoddy repair to the fabric.
    And much more.

The pinhole in the jacket was the worst. Scarred by my previous experiences I took the suit in the dressing room and spent a good amount of time looking for signs of damage. Still missed it, goddamnit!
