Alright boys. I have a bit of a question here on strategy.

I picked up 5x Ermenegildo Zegna Su misuras (Same donor)

    2 are suits
    3 Orphans

1 orphan pair of slacks (solid navy)

One suit is the same as the orphans

The other suit is a bit slimmer, more recent with an awesome paisley lining- Should Iist this seperately?

and should I list the 3 orphans, 1 suit, 1 orphan pants all together as a Lot?

    ^ I vote no. 6 separate auctions.

Well thats clearly the smartest solution

But yes, one guy may not need all the patterns/colors etc or they won't measure exactly the same. Or not need pants. Or a suit. You get what Im saying.

    I
agree with this and would add that with my Oxxford hall, many of which were the same size, i listed separately, but one guy wanted to buy all the items that were 46L. He contacted me, and offered a price for 7 jackets that I accepted, so I then took down those listings and created one especially for him. So, if someone wants them all, you can still find a way to sell them in a lot.

Is it a little ironic that my Girbaud jeans are being shipped to a buyer in France? I guess Girbaud is not the Levis of France and like everything else makes most of its sales in the USA.

Hhhh WTF I just had a BIN on a jacket I listed yesterday. I paid for the shipping label and packed it up than I saw that he hadn't actually paid yet!

Why is that not the default to require immediate payment? Now if he doesn't pay by tonight I have to void this shipment and it gets all fucked up. Who does a BIN than doesn't pay right away? Why is that even an option?

IMO the fault lies with eBay for activating the "print shipping" link before the buyer has paid. Totally ridiculous.

Do you click on the "require immediate payment" option when you list a BIN item?

I did not know it existed until this point. Normally I only run auctions but have been doing pretty good with BIN so am transitioning everything new to that. Garagesale does not make it automatic and neither does eBay. I have since went in and changed all of my current BINs en masse which was nice because for the auctions it just threw an error and let me do the rest. I am now going in and checking it for all of my templates.

I agree, and since I stole my auction policy from Spoo; I allow 7 days to pay by default.

You don't have to void the label yet. The PO won't reject labels unless they're a few days old.

Just fucked up like this myself today. Underquoted shipping by $50 to a guy because I didn't realize he was in Mexico when I sent the invoice. At first, I sent him a note telling him what happened and asking him to kick in another $40, saying I'd cover the other ten for my mistake. Then I had a change of heart and sent him a note saying that It was my mistake and I was going to stand behind it. If he wanted to kick over another $40, then great, but I was going to ship based on what he already paid. I printed and boxed, and sure enough the guy PP'd me $40 not an hour later. Nice fella.
