You might want to check your eBay balance to see if it has gone up. Is it possible that eBay does the refund and then tacks it back onto your fees for the next month's cycle? I hate that you can arms-length contract with a purchaser and then eBay has full override capability. That is a long and tired debate, though. It would be nice if eBay picked up the tab, but I seriously doubt it.

Well, I THINK my balance went up $25, but they must have been holding that money for weeks and I don't keep it down the dollar in my head.

If you look at the detailed information for the transaction where the buyer paid it should have additional links in their related to the case and any charges/refunds associated with it.

What listing titles would you give these two jackets? I'm not too familiar with the names of coat styles, so all I have right now is "Brioni Olive Wool Coat" or something like that. That obviously won't attract much attention...

The first is pure wool and the second is pure cashmere with removable fur lining.

The Brioni is a shooting/hunting jacket, which I definitely would make note of. The tell-tale signs are the combination of patch pockets which can hold more ammo, the shoulder box pleats in the back so you have more arm movement, and the elbow patches. I've seen those called actions pleats. A Norfolk jacket is a belted version of this kind of hunting jacket. Yours has the half-belt in the back, so I think you can legitimately call it a Norfolk, but I'm not an expert. If it were me, I'd use something like "Brioni olive Norfolk shooting/hunting jacket"

I'll bet people will be drooling over it.

    Wow, those Brioni... [IMG]

VLSI I'd call it a heavy wool field / hunting jacket

    What size and maker?

I just learned so much from this post. Thanks a lot for the information. Its very interesting actually.

Thanks Spoo, I'll be using those. I wouldn't have ever thought that coming up with a good ebay title is a difficult thing, but yours definitely separate yourself from other seller.

General question to everyone, but Spoo, noticed that in some of your listings, you dont have the size in the title? Do you feel it is not as important as other key words due to the fact most people use the ebay choices to narrow down the size vs. putting it in the search?

I 100% always put the size at the end of my listings, couldn't imagine not. Just wondering thoughts.

I filter out jackets that aren't in my size, but I like having the sizes in the title so I can see if the product is 38S, 38R, or 38L.
