Out of curiosity, what's the advantage?

If the payment was made as payment for merchandise the shipping address will already be filled in. No cut and paste.

I thought it would be cheaper, but it is the same price as USPS website since it wasn't for an eBay sale. So I am not sure there is an advantage.

It's still quicker than waiting in line at the PO if yours doesn't have an automated system.

Sold a printer to a customer. Shipped on Monday. No tracking updates. Buyer says he is leaving town on Sunday Morning and that if he doesn't get it today, Saturday, he might as well return it. So since he won't be home to accept to package, it may just sit either on his porch or in plain sight over the holidays. He is in Michigan so I know the snow delayed the delivery. If the box gets wet from snow, how can he return it in usable condition, arrrghhhh.

I'm pretty sure that's not your problem. If he sends back a damaged box, report him for abusing the returns.

Got to love ebay people sometimes...question on a pair of size 9.5 Allen Edmonds.

"What size are the shoe trees that are included?"

Maybe it's me why would anyone ask this... they are the correct size that fit in the shoes obviously.

Could someone tell me what is going on with this suit? It is a BB Own Make that I bought off Ebay. There is fine stitching that runs along the lapels and around the collar. Is this supposed to be there? Did someone alter it? Is the wool stretched and showing the stitching? I don't know much about suits. Thanks in advance. [IMG]

Not sure I totally follow what you're asking, but the fine stitching at the edge of the lapel is/was standard way of finishing suits for years. At one time, you could grab any random navy blazer from any maker and the stitching would be there or even more commonly, about 3/16" inset from the edge. Even as a young guy, I thought that looked clunky. Now, you don't see that as often because people generally have come to prefer a more handmade look, and there are now machines that emulate the fine pick stitching popular for years in italian suits. But for a USA made suit of a certain age, that stitching was common. The third option is no stitching visible at the edge of the lapels.

Can't totally tell, but the shoulder looks like it might have been hand sewn into the jacket.

from your two photos, I can't see anything wrong. Style and manufacturing choices it looks to me.

Has anyone dealt with this? I just got a violation notice from Ebay for violating a company's intellectual rights.

I listed a device that was purchased by my wife on Ebay (from an authorized dealer). She ended up getting one extra than what we needed, so I attempted to sell the extra one. Of course I advertised it as new, which it is. Then I got the message below. I sent a message to the address provided explaining what I was selling and why. Hopefully they'll be understanding. I really don't need strikes against my Ebay account for bullshit reasons.

    Hello freehueco,
After reviewing your eBay account, it appears that you have violated eBay's Parallel Import Violation - Unauthorized Item policy. We realize you may not have been aware of this policy, or that this may have been a simple oversight, but unfortunately, we had to take the following actions on your account:
    - Violating listings have been removed. A list of items that were removed can be viewed at the bottom of this message.
    - We have credited any associated fees to your account.

Your listing was removed after the rights owner notified us that your item violated their rights.

Importing certain products from other countries without the rights owners permission may violate their intellectual property rights. Because of this, eBay removes these items when we are contacted by the rights owner.

We encourage you to contact the rights owner directly to better understand their position, as well as the countries or regions that they are concerned about. You will then want to exclude these regions in your listings and will also need to state that you won't sell to buyers in these areas.

For more information on our VeRO program, please visit:

Please be sure your current and future listings follow these guidelines, keeping in mind that additional violations of this policy could result in the suspension of your account.

We encourage you to contact "company name" directly if you have any questions.

You can send an email to:

Sorry to say Fueco, but if youve been VERO'd, youre screwed. This has nothing to do of where you got it, whatever it was - that company did not want your listing up for some reason and they killed it. You can try to appeal, but 99% of the time, its useless.

You now cant list any brand in the Vero list for something like 60 or 90 days.

What pisses me off the most about this is that this a product that we use. It's a rather small company, and my wife was given two units by a company rep earlier this year. She subsequently bought five more, but we only need six (they come in one and two packs).

I mentioned all of this in my email. I will fight this tooth and nail, as the burden of proof SHOULD NOT BE ON ME.

That vero list includes many brands we see up all the time. Does that list include brands we are not suppose to sell personally?

I guess I just don't have a grasp on how all that works yet. How do we go about protecting ourselves?

Most companies are only after counterfeiters.

My only hope is that company is reasonable. I have a direct line to about 40% of their customer base. If I have to blog about this, their business would be severely impacted.

Is it because you were selling it as new? If it's used then it shouldn't be a problem, right?

I really fucking hate that shit. Once you buy it, it's yours. As long as you're not selling it as new. I can see why they have issues with stuff that is marked new (warranty etc) but once that happens and it's marked as pre-owned then they should have no claims on it.

I know that's not how the law works, but it really pisses me off. Especially with things like music/games. If I buy a video game, I can't let a friend borrow it? WTF.

    Sorry for the rant.

It still shouldn't matter if I sell it as new or unused. Taking something home does not make it used. Opening the package and using it makes it used.
