There's quite a bit to unpack here. Couple things: first, despite my being just shy of 27 years of selling on eBay, I'm not sure how a listing could have gone up "by itself" at a price you didn't set...

I would not assume that it did not happen.

In 28+ years on ebay, most of the years as a full time seller I have seen ebay somehow lose all pictures except the main one on many listings, and recently because I was puzzled by slow suit sales I audited my suit listings. Half of my listings were dropped at some unknown time in the past without notification from ebay. There is no mistake on my part because I move suits from 'not listed' locations to 'listed' racks as I list them for sale.

I never underestimate the capacity of ebay to screw up software or make dumbass policy decisions.

Crazy person for your block list. He said my measurements were incorrect, threatened to return another item he bought, and thinks I'm desperate for money (that was only last night with yer mum, mate). How do you guys deal with the measurements issue? Include photos with the tape measure?

The all caps thing and off topic comments are a little weird, but it doesn't appear you denied providing inaccurate measurements.

Gimme a break. I'm objectively reading the info provided. It appears that the seller provided inaccurate measurements and refused a return. Now he wants everyone to block the guy because he can't admit a mistake. I agree the guy is obnoxious, but he may still be due a return.
I buy many items on eBay. I rarely return and I've never been dishonest with a seller. If measurements aren't provided, I ask. If measurements don't make sense for some reason, I ask for confirmation before buying. I can't recall it ever happening, but if I received something with substantially different measurements from those provided before the sale, I wouldn't be happy either.
I'm your dream buyer. Your shade is misplaced.

I'm pretty sure @Fueco was joking around, not throwing shade

Every year, I make the same New Years Resolution. Do better at answering ebay questions.

Every year, these buyers make me give up in January.

The smartass in me wants to answer smartassedly, while the CSR in me wants to be polite. It almost always ends up in a stalemate with no answers sent......though sometimes the smartass wins.

Might be someone worth blocking.

Purchased a pair of Rock Revival Jeans (don't judge, I know) from me, size 29. I included a photo of the waist measurement, all other measurements including the waist measurement was in the description. About 2 weeks after delivery, he leaves me negative feedback without any prior correspondence, and no messages I sent in the following week and a half received a response despite seeing his feedback number go up, meaning that he was actively buying things from people.

Worst thing about this whole situation is that I've reached out to eBay on multiple occasions via their email and phone lines (when I can get the customer service AI to grace me with a call back option) and I've gotten 3 feedback removal requests denied despite a customer service agent telling me over the phone that the feedback would be removed. All the reasoning summed up to "it's the buyer's experience," which I think is bullshit in this case.

I went through the due process of photographing the jeans as I packed them so I know I sent them the pair in the listing. "Buyer's experience" implies subjectivity when I objectively know that the item I sent was the one I purchased. I've offered to share the photos with eBay, but they've turned a deaf ear.

I'm mostly venting at this point because it seems that this will remain unchanged unless the buyer decides to accept my feedback revision request, but it's unfortunate that my feedback has to take a hit over a gaudy pair of Rock Revivals that I sold AT A ~30% DISCOUNT to this guy. Apparently a full refund won't remove the negative feedback either, so I can't even front the $50.00 and move on from this.

Curses. This must be punishment for trying to peddle Rock Revivals in the first place.
