Apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn’t find it in the search.

For the first time tonight I won a Bay auction and the system sent me a notification saying “Automatic checkout is set for ______ [item]” in 1 hour. I messaged the seller (member here) and he said he didn’t change anything on his end, but eBay forums say it’s a newer seller feature they automatically opted sellers into that they have to opt out of. Anyone else have experience with this? I’ve never not paid or canceled a purchase before. Not like I am flagged for anything to my knowledge.

With the timer being what it was I couldn’t even bid on other items that were listed more than an hour apart without being auto charged the default shipping cost again.

Try reaching out to the seller and ask about a combined shipping discount. They might be able to help you out.

When you get an INR and the item is showing as delivered, there's nothing you need to do anymore, correct? You used to have to verify the tracking number, but that's not an option anymore. Just want to make sure with no action, the case will resolve in my favor or if there's an option I'm missing.

After 28 years as an ebay seller I recently learned that I don't know the difference between flat front and pleated. Don't miss the last sentence. Thanks for the clarification, jec.84.

Return Reason
Doesn't match description or photos

Item was listed as flat front pants ie no crease. Photos also do not show front of pants. Pants are NOT flat front, they are pre-pressed/creased chinos (sold by Brooks Brothers as such) & not flat front. I only wear creased pants with pleats & cuff and purchased these expecting flat front chinos.

I read the last sentence 4 times. ……..I only date white women so when I showed up on a blind date I was expecting a black woman and not the white woman that was supposedly my date. Anyway that’s what I get out of it.

I came here because I need to sell a few things on ebay. Haha

Yes, I think you have a pretty clear understanding of it.

How did EBay’s chatbot CSR do?
I don't even bother, not worth my time. Refund when it was returned, block, move on.

Out of curiosity, does anyone here reuse shipping supplies like bubble wrap or paper sourced from local businesses? Which types of businesses do you have the best luck with?

I imagine I'm not the only one on here who received this today. What does it tell me? Well, based on my sucky volume, that very few people are doing men's clothing any more, lol . . .

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
