He might be the worst buyer ever.
I had these feeling, so we made a video while opening the parcel. It smelled strange, prior opening. Would highly avoid this guy. Let’s see what eBay has to say, forced us return, we paid with FedEx, and this now.

Update; ebay paid out of their pocket. What a live to be a scammer and maybe relative of Amber Heard.

eBay Customer Support has refunded the buyer.

We're issuing the buyer a refund for this case. You don't need to do anything else. This case won't be included when we evaluate seller performance. We're issuing the buyer a refund for this case. You don't need to do anything else. This case won't be included when we evaluate seller performance.

Nothing on that level, but made up incorrect measurements grind my gears.

I'm so frustrated with ebay. Not only do I now have strikes against me by following the representative's advice and getting ebay to step in, but these strikes are against my US account, not against my Canadian one where I list all my items. Now I'm underwater on performance metrics now and at risk of restrictions. I was told that I just need to make some transactions on the US account to make the metrics better there, only 654 perfect transactions are required by October 14th to make it right on that account. What a joke.

Only need to worry that you just shared your target with all of SF :)
But seriously, they look like the uppers have been kept in good shape. Only big unknown is the quality of the resoling job. Difficult to tell without having them in-hand. Did someone rip off the sole and slap on a new one without replacing the cork, purely for resale market? Maybe ask who did the resoling and if there is a receipt from a cobbler.

The waist appears original - if the waist was replaced it was done by EG. The shoes could be half resoled, but I think the "new soles" just refers to the topy job.

Stopped selling my stuff on ebay a year ago after an annoying experience with a buyer from Huntington Beach. Started again to get rid of some stuff before I move and it feels like the fees increased 5%

Now that the return window has closed, I feel comfortable sharing that I had my two biggest eBay sales of the year on the same day. Thrift prices might be rising, but this was a solid $22+ tax investment…

$150 and $450, plus shipping…

OK. I have a weird one for you experts to crack. I made a purchase of a Rolex Men's Watch on eBay in 2022. After wearing it for a year and some change, I decided to sell it again on eBay in Septmeber 2024. While the watch passed verification and I received an eBay-issued authentication card in 2022, it did not pass verification when I tried to sell it in 2024. eBay informed me that I cannot relist the watch once it's returned. I have all of the documentation related to my initial purchase. Since the watch can not be verified, I don't want to keep it either! I appreciate the guidance and advice in advance. Is there anything I can do?

What model of Rolex? Where you provided with any information regarding the failed verification? Was the watch serviced while in your possession? Any parts replaced or components swapped? It seems to me that the best course of action is going to start with authentication by a different third party. Unfortunately ebay could be right or wrong, or wrong or right and you'll need to nail down if the watch is legit before any next steps.

Nothing on the watch itself was physically swapped out, modified, or changed, and the watch was not serviced. The watch came with an aftermarket band, which I replaced. I have a verification/appraisal document from a third party.

@Fueco or others - What on earth is this and what is it used for? Is it M or F? It is full of pilling but I thought it might worth saving. This might be the oldest Patagonia I've found. I've not seen this tag before and there is no style number. It has a flap back. The zipper on the front can be opened from either end. Thanks!
