I had these feeling, so we made a video while opening the parcel. It smelled strange, prior opening. Would highly avoid this guy. Let’s see what eBay has to say, forced us return, we paid with FedEx, and this now.He might be the worst buyer ever.
Only need to worry that you just shared your target with all of SFWhat do I need to worry about here? https://www.ebay.com/itm/3155441928...uid=C3NRL-nFSxG&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Seems authentic
The waist appears original - if the waist was replaced it was done by EG. The shoes could be half resoled, but I think the "new soles" just refers to the topy job.Only need to worry that you just shared your target with all of SF
But seriously, they look like the uppers have been kept in good shape. Only big unknown is the quality of the resoling job. Difficult to tell without having them in-hand. Did someone rip off the sole and slap on a new one without replacing the cork, purely for resale market? Maybe ask who did the resoling and if there is a receipt from a cobbler.
OK. I have a weird one for you experts to crack. I made a purchase of a Rolex Men's Watch on eBay in 2022. After wearing it for a year and some change, I decided to sell it again on eBay in Septmeber 2024. While the watch passed verification and I received an eBay-issued authentication card in 2022, it did not pass verification when I tried to sell it in 2024. eBay informed me that I cannot relist the watch once it's returned. I have all of the documentation related to my initial purchase. Since the watch can not be verified, I don't want to keep it either! I appreciate the guidance and advice in advance. Is there anything I can do?
Nothing on the watch itself was physically swapped out, modified, or changed, and the watch was not serviced. The watch came with an aftermarket band, which I replaced. I have a verification/appraisal document from a third party. What model of Rolex? Where you provided with any information regarding the failed verification? Was the watch serviced while in your possession? Any parts replaced or components swapped? It seems to me that the best course of action is going to start with authentication by a different third party. Unfortunately ebay could be right or wrong, or wrong or right and you'll need to nail down if the watch is legit before any next steps.
