Put This On - I have seen ads on there from LuxeSwap quite a bit, and it's probably pure coincidence that they feature his items in their roundup with regularity. [IMG]
Has that relationship since ended? Do not know...

Can you set up immediate payment without a store?
I've sold a few things via Instagram but other than that it's eBay & B&S

I would see if you can increase the offer a bit to maybe 550 or 500. If your going to sell it to him with a bit of concern, make it worth the chance [IMG]

At that price point insuring the item & requesting sig confirmation should cover you.

Thank you for the advice. I think I will send him a message saying to check my feedback, don't want him to have buyer's remorse before even buying, and that I can decline (or accept) his offer within 48 hours. Give the guy a chance to catch his breath - $450 is a lot to offer on something, for us regular folk.

I'm totally happy with $450 - had one earlier offer for $325 which was lowball and I let it expire. I got the item at Goodwill, so the ROI at $450 is well above the norm and I'd rather be happy than greedy (and I know you were just kidding to begin with).

Oh yeah - UPS shipping, fully insured, is already part of the deal.

    Thanks!

You can require immediate payment for BIN only (or, BINOBO but only if the person pays full BIN price - not if you accept an OBO). You cannot set immediate payment for an auction item.
To set this, check the "Require immediate payment..." box when you list / revise your items:

Im not a buisnessman, Im a business, man. I dont pay for advertising anywhere on PTO. Im quite fortunate to have lots of my items featured there, which is so much appreciated, but in no way reciprocated with payment or advertising. I happen to list cool shit they like, it winds up there just like yours may. I list with more volume than most, so the more spaghetti you throw at the wall, the more sticks. In fact, the only place I pay for advertising is here on SF, with my affiliate thread. My blog is quite heavily trafficked as well, but thats free. And, lets not forget the LuxeSwap paraphernalia that goes in 150+ packages a week. I cant tell you how many times Ive consigned the same item 2 or 3 times even.
    yuuuuuup

What do you all use for printing your labels?

What type of printer and do you guys use?
How do you feel about purchasing refurbished ink cartridges off eBay to save a few $$?

Thanks, what does the premier account do exactly? Haven't really had issues most of time but it would be nice to get payment immediately

I use the self adhesive labels, two to a page.
I use an HP printer, nothing special.
I wouldn't buy an OEM cartridge at an office supply store if my life depended on it. Refurb carts are way cheaper and usually contain more ink. The only issue I have ever encountered was a couple that were seemingly dried up. I soaked the business end of the cart in shallow hot water for a few seconds and blotted on a paper towel. problem solved.
Most printers will give a warning that you are not using an OEM cart, just ignore it. It may void a printer warranty if you have one though.
