Not sure how much you sell, but as long as you don't drop below 90% for shipping on time, you will be fine. They allow that 10% just for instances like this.

Heads up, it's actually a 95% rule now. Not sure when they changed it. Classic eBay, always raising the bar while lowering the reward.

earliest eBay experience was 97 or 98, a buddy came from a family of pro flippers and let me use his account to 'sell' a guitar to a dude who flaked. ended up consigning the git with a local shop.

Very first sale. Sold a Dept 56 village for my mom. Revisit the minutia involved, take pictures, get film developed, scan pictures in, half day to upload pictures. Sold for over $1500! even waiting to receive the check, check to clear, ship and recieve positive feedback made it quite the inaugural debut.

So I just bought a few things on Poshmark, and the seller, right before shipping, lets me know that he couldn't find one item. I didn't see his comment till last night, and today I received the other two things. Should I "accept" the order or declare that one item is missing? The seller wrote that he would paypal me some refund. I'm guessing he wants me to "accept" it so that he can get the money. But I'm guessing that if I do, there's no guarantee that he'd send the refund portion.

This is my first time using Poshmark, so I'd really appreciate any wisdom anyone might have.

Communication came through Poshmark? You would have evidence of what went down if you don't get your refund. If you don't think there's anything fishy, I'd just go through with it.

If you go through they system for one item of a bundle poshmark makes you return all of it. Kind of annoying.
