That is a very good price. That is not just the 450... That's the 450 Twin Turbo. @Fueco uses this one and gave it a thumbs up. I have the cheaper 450 Turbo and I paid more than that.

I have the 450 XL.

Anyone looking for a Dymo label writer, Amazon deal of the day has the 450 model for less than $100. They claim that is 66% off.

I'm always so tempted to fire back at these guys when they send the most ridiculous offers. I think my favorite was maybe from @kbadgley84 (I think it was him), when he responded to the lowballer by saying "Thanks. Who's going to pay for the rest?" ?

Hey guys, need help on a high-value item I sold.

Sold a suit to a UK buyer. He sends a paypal echeque. Paypal says funds should clear by Nov 5, but it still shows as pending (money not in my account yet).

Buyer says he called eBay to ask why his payment was on hold. eBay tells him that because I haven’t sold anything in 6 months, they put my funds on hold until I input a tracking #.

Two issues:

1. My last sale was in September, not 6 months ago.

2. I got no message from eBay saying I need to ship the item first before they clear the payment.

Anybody encounter a similar situation? It’s a NWT Tom Ford suit, so I want to be careful about it.

Any help is appreciated!
I cancelled my 15+ yr old PayPal account because of a similar-ish situation. I sold ten or so PS4 games earlier this year, and PayPal held the funds for the same stated reason- that I hadn't sold anything in the six mos prior (which was true, I might go years without selling something). I had a number of buyers getting antsy about my not shipping, so I shipped them all even though PayPal hadn't released the money to me (and none of the three reps I spoke with could tell me when I'd see the money). Now that I reconsider this situation, I have no idea if I ever got paid...

I got to wondering about what value PayPal actually has (compared to what any credit card provides), and couldn't think of any. Cancelled the account, did a BBB complaint (which I don't believe PayPal even replied to) and just pay for eBay purchases directly with my credit card, which nets me Amazon points. That company can ********, IMO.

Man, I just don’t know... I got hit with a second “doesn’t fit” return this week, this time for a pair of glasses. I provided the relevant size numbers, mentioned they were on the small side, and implored buyers to Google what glasses numbers mean if they didn’t know already.

The buyer wrote saying he’s “usually a 140”, but these are small. 140 is the temple length.

Would you guys accept a return?

So does his head get bigger when the sun's out?

I'd accept the return just to make him go away, but then I've become quite jaded about all the crap associated with eBay sales these days. I just can't be arsed arguing, so I guess I allow myself to be taken advantage of a bit.

Anyone want to walk a noob through their first SNAD claim? :(

I’m so mad right now. I closed a “Doesn’t fit”’return on a pair of jeans. Guy obviously didn’t look at the measurements. The message says the jeans are too tight in a few places, and that I ticked the ‘regular fit’ box when the jeans are ‘slim fit boot cut’.

Next I get an ‘Item not as described’ message on eBay — he now says the rise measurement is off by 1”. (Doesn’t mention the other areas he said were too tight). Today I get an email from PayPal showing a negative balance, and saying my funds from eBay are on hold.

I can’t tell whether he opened a PayPal, eBay case, or both.

What do I do?

Originally, he listed the return reason as ‘doesn’t fit’, so I’m hoping someone will see through this. I’m not sure what to say about the ‘regular fit’ as that is subjective. These are just slim straight RRL jeans, not what anyone would consider listing as skinny :(
