Is it just me or do you seem to have a weird amount of issues with buyers for that brand specifically? I feel like you’ve had other goofy issues in the past on sealskins stuff.

It seems that way, but I’ve sold more than a thousand Sealskinz items. Percentage-wise, it’s probably not that bad.

So, I have a question: if I sold an item & a month later the buyer contacts me asking for a refund bc there is a rip in the seams of the trousers (I didn't notice it, he noticed it after a month). Is it easier to just provide the refund?

Personally I would. eBay seem to be requiring a minimum 30 day refund period anyway, and it would probably be better to avoid a feedback hit. I've only ever had one neg (unjustly) and it will take a year to clear it.

If it is along the seam that should be an easy fix for anybody who can sew. I would ask him if he would be willing to take $10 to have a seamstress sew it up, if he says no then I would just take the return.

Anyone who has experience using Facebook's marketplace?

I had listed an item on there just to try it (I usually use Ebay). It was a Loro Piana men's sport coat. It was listed 2 or 3 weeks just fine. I since sold it on Ebay, so I was going to remove it from Facebook, to find that my listing on Facebook was since flagged due to,

"It looks like you're trying to sell an item that doesn't meet our policies. Common items we don't allow people to sell include animals, guns or illegal products."

No other reason. I checked their policies, and there is nothing there that contradicts my listing. I filed an "appeal" just to find out for what reason they did that. I don't think FB listing, is something I would be interested in anyway.

Is this an issue, of some random FB user just flagging it, to cause trouble?

It's random. I sell lots of items (including mainline LP) on FB Marketplace and have never had anything flagged. I even sold a crossbow and they didn't flag it.

I've had great luck selling on FB. Likely just a dumb user reported.

Florsheim Royal Imperial. This is what it would look like if not so worn.

On hold w/ USPS rn. From what I just read on the web, it's NOT in NYC, but in a ISC facility in (this case) Germany. Anyone have experience with this situation?
