    looks interesting. and a easy way to stay consisten/communicate your methods of measuring w. buyers but what's the reasoning of drop boxes w. 1/4,1/2,3/4"? (Dress shirts). Just as easily include that with a picture of their layout in your listing right?

    Not sure I understand your questions, but...

    I've seen dress shirts with 3/4. 15 3/4 is a 40 cm neck.

    Enter the info, then generate the image, then either insert the code or save the image and upload with your other pictures.

    I found out about this when I looked at a listing that had the measurements as one of the preview images. I suppose if you have your workflow down tight and sizing as part of your Garage Sale template this is extraneous, but I do like that a buyer can just mouse over the preview and have the sizing come up.

    Not for long, I bet, since they already have a "size-ly pro" link that hasn't been provisioned yet. The monetization will come . . . Thanks for the link!

    As for usefulness, it's all going to be a matter of whether it fits the user's workflow. Anything that takes extra work has to be factored carefully against potential sales increases (eBay's mandatory Custom Specifics almost killed it for me), and those metrics are very hard to figure out in our line of activity, since we aren't offering hundreds or thousands of the same item. Based on my experiment today, it seems that it just adds extra work without a clear premise of increased sales, so I wouldn't be inclined to use it, as I'm backlogged far enough as it is. On the other hand, when they come up with an AI camera that sits above my prep area and automatically pulls the measurements in real time right into the listing, now we're talkin'!!

    @rhyme Giving eBay a call won't hurt. Also, what's the buyer's name? :)

    Hi, here is a question from buyer side.
    The seller of an item I won didn't select Paypal as a payment method when he made the listing, he just sent me his Paypal adress in a message afterward. Will I still have the same level of buyer protection if I pay him directly through Paypal interface?

    Thanks!

    Isn't this just trying to circumvent all the Ebay fees, or taking the transaction outside of Ebay, if you complied with his request. I'm quite sure, this is against Ebay policy.

    Yes, but he doesn't pay fees as a buyer. SO why bother with such a request? Plus he's offering to pay $10 more than my price.

    How do you have 525 if you "don't do ebay"? I don't know what his scam is, but it seems like there's something there. Is he planning on sending cash?

    Hell to the no. It's not worth any potential eBay ramifications. We try to avoid headaches, not cater to their whims.

    Oh, I'm not doing it. Already told him so.
