Absolutely, ask to fix and if he can't relist the item and make him buy it again. I lost $350 earlier this year because I sold a Intel i7 6700k and the buyer changed the zip last minute.

Ship to the eBay-approved address. Only get nervous when the buyer wishes to deviate from the eBay supplied address.

I had a buyer explain to me that he only bought OTR from Samuelsohn for exactly this reason. He couldn't be sure about the fabric content in other brands.

I probably go overboard, but if there is a flaw, I mention it in the description, include a marked up photo, and mention it again in the photo caption. Screen Shot 2017-07-24 at 11.20.55 AM.png

I've also noticed that most of the BINOBO sellers have a method of doing mark downs. e.g. at 30 days its marked down 10%, 15% at 45, 20% at 60 days or whatever the pattern.

How do you keep up with how long something has actually been posted because the dates seem to change whenever the 30 day refresh happens.

So, check out this boneheaded move. I received 24 rolls of eBay BOPP tape purchased from my last coupon. Not having any money invested in them, I listed them for $33.99. Unfortunately, not paying any attention, I listed them with free shipping. As my luck dictates, they were purchased by someone in Yorba Linda, CA. So, the $33.99 listing price is overshadowed by the $34.48 USPS Priority shipping. Net profit: $(.49)

So a strange thing happened to me today. This may be an indication that the pendulum of ebay buyer/seller treatment has shifted closer to our (seller) favor. I called to dispute a SNAD return that the buyer said "just wasn't a good color for her" in the text of a return. I take returns, so it was automatically approved. Buyer's remorse, easy. The rep looked it up and maybe did something wrong, because I tried to give a partial refund through PP (not refunding shipping and charging the restocking fee) the transaction was locked. So I said I couldn't refund, we discussed it for a minute, then he said, ok it's taken care of. I assumed he meant I could issue the refund soon and we were good. A few minutes later I get an email, ebay partially refunded the buyer (item cost) and I didn't need to do anything. So I have the item, the buyer didn't get all her money back, she can't leave feedback, and it didn't cost me more than my time w/ the rep.

It won't show up as a "case closed without seller resolution" will it?

Any tips on saving money on shipping materials? What's your go to shipping method and packaging for shirts, pants, and jackets?

Are you in the states? If so, I get padded flat rate envelopes for shirts/pants, 1095 boxes for pants that don't fit in the flat rate envelope and most sport coats, 1092 boxes for thicker sport coats, large boxes for bigger coats and suits, and shoe box for shoes and sweaters. https://store.usps.com/store/browse/subcategory.jsp?categoryId=priority-mail&categoryNavIds=shipping-supplies:priority-mail

I also order 6x3x3 boxes from Uline and then I get a bunch of different size clear poly bags from eBay. http://stores.ebay.com/mallqui-store

No, the case was decided in my favor, but ebay accidentally issued the refund themselves.
"This case is now closed. You are not required to reimburse the buyer or eBay, and this case will not be counted in your seller performance evaluation."
