My only reason for concern is the first message he sent. I've seen scams that started this way, so there's just a smidge of doubt creeping into my mind. I have no concerns over the quality of Canada Post's service. My wife is from Alberta, so I've sent lots of packages up north over the years.

Hey guys, would appreciate some advice.

I uploaded some listings on eBay (ties), and they show up as active on my dashboard, but they're not showing up on search listings. Any idea what might be causing it?

Assuming you don't have a store with vacation settings on. How recently did you upload them?

Seems a lot of the top guys here have dropped BINOBO in favor of an NR auction with a reasonable starting price, or a fixed listing BIN, sometimes marked down?

    Do I have this right?

I recently switched from NR auctions to BINOBO and couldn't be happier. Slower turnover, but I'm happy with the price I'm getting on each item now. Gone are the days of selling 5 Brioni shirts each ending with <$10 bids.

Is it because of the Linen content? I saw a patch inside a brioni jacket certifying it shatnez free so I looked it up and it's due to Jewish religious beliefs

It was a 100% wool suit and the listing mentioned it like 4 times.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There's a thing in there about not wearing fabric with mixed fiber content. It's near the part in the Torah/Old Testament about who it's legal to own as slaves and the stuff about stoning gay people.

Even 100% wool jackets may have collar linings containing linen, which would make it shatnez, I think. I like how he still says the item came damaged to get out of paying for shipping.

His message today was much better... "All good now."

I'm 99% sure that the item was on a truck somewhere waiting to go back out for delivery when he went into the Post Office to pick up the ties.

Especially given how specific the Torah is about the wrongness of stealing.

I'm BIN/BINOBO on suits, sport coats, jackets, and obscure things I think won't get enough exposure in 10 days. I still try to move out shirts and ties auction though or I'd be buried in them.

I do something similar. One thing I've been doing recently is when I think I've got enough new auctions to run for the week, I'll put items on 5 or 7 day BINs for more than I think they'd bring at auction. If they don't sell, I move them to auctions the next week.
