LOL! never seen that before

edit: do Robert Graham shirts even retail for $168??
Yes.

The nicer designs start at about $198 and they go as high as $500 retail.

I accepted an offer on a pair of shell cordovan shoes from a bidder in Japan, and started to get worried when he hadn't paid 2 days later. Sent a friendly reminder message, and he responded and asked for a few more days to pay. Lo and behold, he ended up paying today! It pays to be polite and patient.

More expensive is the term I should have used.

The one posted wouldn't be something I would go for., but I do have a few.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will wait another day and then send a reminder. I have always paid within less than 24 hours and all my prior buyers have as well--not that I sell on EBay a lot, as I am sure you cal tell!

i would guess that he is trying to ward off any other bidders. It would be a fair assumption that he has bid at least $25 above the minimum bid, so anyone wanting to win would have to pay over $75 for the shirt. However, I don't know if bid increments come into effect when merely raising your own max bid...I haven't tried it. So, it's possible he really has only bid les than $1 above minimum, thus scaring away other bidders, but not falling prey to shill bidding.
Always puzzles me why some bidders do this. This guy bid 51 times in a row. I suppose he thinks the BIN price is a reserve or something. There is no-one else bidding yet. He must really want it bad! I just need another person who really wants it bad to come along.

Quote: Was wondering myself so just tested it out on an auction I was watching. Once you are the high bidder, you can continue to bid 1 penny at a time to "increase" you max bid. Because you are already the high bidder, you do not need to meet the minimum bid increment like a different bidder would.

That said, he could have bid $42.49 and 1 penny up each time to be at $43 total. This is pretty crappy IMO, but I really hope someone else wins the auction

I guessed that would be the case. Prolly an effective way of dissuading bidders while keeping your risk low....and very irritating. Hopefully this is a desirable skeet so that his folly is revealed (I have no feel for which skeets get the love).

10 bids would probably do it haha

Looking for a way to list more efficiently. Bulk listing seems to have a steep learning curve. Garagesale is Mac only (and it looks like it has more options than I need anyway.) Any suggestions?
