    Guy sent me the message AND escalated the case 2 seconds afterwards. Didn't wait for a response from me.

    PayPal has taken a bunch out of my account.

    What next? How do I respond to eBay to get the best possible outcome?

    Here is what I plan sending to the buyers and/or eBay customer service:

    LOL ebay:

    -I sell a jacket of my own, a nice super puffy goosedown thing that I liked but I have WAY too many jackets as it is.

    -Buyer write me unhappy with a lots of, frankly questionable complaints.

    -I write back super apologetic, offer him a full refund and to pay return shipping. I could really care less, plus worst case, I get my old jacket back, best case resell it, as I had like 100+ watchers.

    -His reply, well the thing is the jacket is so destroyed that really, no one else would ever use it (keep in mind, his complaint was like a "drawstring beginning to fray"), plus he's out of tape, plus he has no car, plus he's disabled and can't mail it back for a while, so he thinks it'd be "a better business decision for me to just credit his account with a full refund and let him keep it, it'd save me money and be better for my feedback"

    You've got his ass. Feedback extortion. Report him to Ebay. And put him on the blacklist.

    I've never had any problem receiving anything. Nothing special needs to be done with customs afaik, but sometimes if the purchase is over 150 usd the customs office will contact the receiver and charge him. This happens with maybe a fifth of my purchases over that amount.

    Excellent observation. I have called a few times and have been extremely satisfied with the service. I've experienced short wait times and reps who go above and beyond.

    I've had issues like this, so I have the times listed by Canada Post right in my auction, along with mention of possible delays due to customs. It seems to have cut down on the number of upset buyers; but I wonder if the stated times deter any possible customers.

    I have shipped to Poland a couple of times with no problems. Same for Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Insure it and don't worry about it.

    Is it me or did regional rate boxes shipping prices go up a few dollars a piece. I just sent box A 2 days ago for 5.16 usd, now on ebay purchasing one is 8.65 usd....wtf is this.
