So...you guys don't get these options???
Yeah that's what I'm talking about - I used to have that for a few weeks and was loving life but I don't anymore.
Here's how mine shows now:
tbh I really have a lot of pride in every item I sell - I don't sell BR pants because I love them, I do it because I make $20 of profit on them. But even when I sell an RG, it's cool to think that some guy a thousand miles away is opening up the package and thinking "cool, this is just what I wanted"
For those who search and buy alot on eBay there is website http://www.geo-ship.com. It has an option to search many eBay locales at once and many other features like displaying those items that are available to a specific country...
Can you report a winning bidder that uses profanity for an item I sold him? I sold this guy a suit and he's not happy with it, ok, no problem. Will refund him the $. His message is crap this, eff this etc. Just want to get back at him in case he decides to leave neg. feedback on me...
So you want to preemptively get back at him
+1 So do I , but keep in mind that usage of USPS packaging in such a manner may be a Federal crime. Living on the edge!
+1 - My image as well.
I agree. For me, it has become necessary to make a business of my thrifting and sell various brands and styles. Making people happy with their purchase. . .
I have listed an item that's available for International shipping, I had mentioned that international bidders should check with me on the shipping rate before they bid. I now have a bidder from Canada and he has not checked with me on shipping rate. Do I wait till the auction gets over or inform him about the shipping cost, right now?
Thanks for your help.
You should just post the rates as your fixed shipping costs and avoid the whole contact process, which 95% of the people wont adhere to anyhow.
The auction already has started can I change the shipping costs mid-way?
No, but I can smell the negative feedback coming.
Is there any way to include signature confirmation for international shipments via USPS? I've read that Express Mail is the only method
So the item I sold on ebay, I had sent it signature confirmation, this email from USPS.
Now the buyer acknowledged receipt so its fine, but had they denied receiving the package, would I be SOL?
Yeah I do this now as well, can't even seem to get buyers to read ahead of time. If it's a more expensive item, I put international shipping flat rate at $100 or more so a buyer will actually email me first.
Curious as well as I sold a suit for $600 and I got this letter as well though buyer was a doctor and already left positive feedback. I also forgot to send him the suit pants Can't get any sleep teaching Also as a side note, sent a sweater to Italy with USPS Priority and buyer got it in under a week with no issues on customs. Kinda worried but it went through
