Buttoniere Loop

Considering the general declining standards of dress, how many of you actually use the buttoniere loops added to the back of your bespoke and MTM suit lapels? I think I've only worn one once in the last 10 years (which would seem to make the loop, at least in my case, little more than a vestige of tradition), but would like to think that others may be justifying theirs with a bit more frequency.

I do occasionally, and will probably use them twice in the next week.
