Button won't stay buttoned!

I bought a shirt off eBay and I love it-- BUT, two of the buttons won't stay buttoned. It looks like the fabric around the button hole has been abused just a little too much, now the button hole won't maintain a firm shape and the button slips out of it too easily.

Are there any tricks to strengthen the button hole once again? I love the shirt but it's embarrassing when when I have to keep re-buttoning it! Thanks!

Isn't it funny how the brilliant answer is always so obvious? I can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks-- I'll try it!

Hmm. Reminds me of a conversation my GF and I had recently;

Me: "Hun, your buttonhole is too big now, my button keeps sliding out."

GF: "Well, get a bigger button and it'll stay in."

You could also try putting a drop or two of fraycheck on the buttonhole. It'd stiffen it up prevent more wear in the future.
