I wear these Butteros I got off Yoox all the time. Really unusual leather treatment. It's like a waxed nubuck as far as I can tell. Hasn't needed any conditioning so far and feels like a perfect mix between a cowboy boot and Italian side zips. Plus I like the thicker soles on this model as opposed to some of their recent ones. Also sized down.

Looks like a great choice, and I quite like their low profile heels. Really comfortable.

Hey Dalevy, you'll probably want a few inputs here but I have a 9 in Epaulet GAT horsehide and wear a 41.5 or 42 in Buttero low tanino. Other points of reference I am a 9 in Alden barrie and 9.5 in grant last.
    Hope this helps

I've always liked butteros but have never been able to pull the trigger on them in the past. Barneys had a couple different combats for years maybe around 08. My problem with them and most of their boots was that the heel was too high for my tastes. In the years following I've looked at them from time to time and I've found that japan gets the best models. I'm this close to pulling the trigger on the floyds as they are close to perfect; low heel, side zip that goes straight down and toe shape. T

Troika both boots look great in your original post but what I do like about the floyds is how the edges of the outsole don't protrude much farther than the last. That always gives off a more mc vibe, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I tried those boots that Troika posted a few posts above and found the leg opening to be too wide. The floyds look slimmer and I'm excited to try some

I think the heel height difference and structured/unstructured between the two sidezips I posted make them feel like entirely different boots. Neither toe shape is sleek at all, even if the sole doesn't protrude much from the upper.

@jet I have a pair of smooth black sidezips from Japan, can confirm, different vibe from the other releases.

@troika @notwithit did your floyds stretch out with wear? Just received mine and they're very difficult to put on and quite snug when on
