Business Casual Dress Shoes

Hello everyone, I'm looking to purchase black dress shoes that will be worn mostly with business casual attire but can also pull off with a suit. I'm looking to spend under $200 and need something that I can wear with khakis and dark jeans as well as the occasional suit. I was looking at the johnson and murphy melton oxford shoe but I hear it's way too shiny and probably would not do well in a business casual setting. If anyone can give me some suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Something simple like that with maybe a cap toe would be my cup of tea

I recommend that you buy brown oxfords, not black. Black cap toe oxfords are way too formal for khakis and black shoes don't look right with jeans.

You may wish to go to an Allen Edmonds outlet store or check ebay.

Why buy black shoes for a "business-casual" environment? That's an invitation to introduce color.

A third vote for nixing the black shoes. Black shoes look wrong with jeans and are an atrocity unto god when worn with khakis. Buy some brown or burgundy wingtips.
