Business Casual / Dress Pants for work

Where should I get pants for work? Even though the dress code is casual, I'd say 60-70% of people in front office positions at my investment bank wear dress pants to work (they have to be dry cleaned).

I'm 6'2 with a 34 waist and relatively muscular legs, so the hugo red line won't fit me. That being said, roughly 90% of what is out there is too baggy. I've thought about just splurging 5x$200 for boss black pants, but figured I'd better come here first for some advice. I'd prefer not to spend over $200 a pant. My experience with custom clothiers is they always *** it up at least twice before getting it right, albeit I can't afford the high end stuff.

Thanks.

Banana republic tailored fit. I usually go to sales and get wool dress pants for ~$40. As long as you don't sweat a lot at your job, you rarely have to dry clean. I have a rotation of around 15 pairs and I dry clean them maybe once or twice a year.

I tried banana republic tailored fit, but did not see any wool pants there.

what type of pants did you see? Most of their pants are a wool blend...
You can also go to their outlet stores too. Might be cheaper/ comparable prices to their 50% off sales.

Pretty sure they were cotton. Maybe it was wool, but it was definitely a cheap quality. My dockers felt better IMO.

If he really has muscular thighs, the BB milanos are not going to fit as they are too slim (the pockets will pull open).

Why not go for pants that are more generous in fit and taper it down at the tailors? Instead of going 5x$200 you probably can go 5x$120 and then extra $30 or so for the tailoring.
