Bush on cnn

A brief trip back to a prior discussion -- given the comments by some that they basically wouldn't be caught dead in pink clothes, I found it interesting a few weeks ago to see Kerry wearing a rather bright pink tie and to see on CNN yesterday Bush wearing a pale pink shirt with a darker pink tie. Pink certainly isn't problematic for politicians.

Shouldn't wearing a pink shirt or necktie depend, chiefly, upon one's coloring? And on "white" and many "black" skins, pink can look quite nice.

It looks bad on pale pinkish (white) skin, in my opinion. By contrast pink will make skin look greener, and it can make some complexions look literally sick. With a tan, it looks great.

I think more important than the shade of your skin is the hue. I completely agree, people with pink/red skin should never wear pink shirts. I have VERY pale skin, it's ghostly white with a more yellow than pink hue, and I've been told many times that pink looks great on me.
