Who is better dressed in this photograph?
obamabushh.jpg

Obama has a better frame for wearing clothes, but Bush is showing the requisite amount of shirt cuff. Obama's suit looks like it is pulling at the button, perhaps the result of too much junk food on the campaign trail. Obama's jacket is a better length and he gets points for a dimpled tie. I say Obama by a nose.

He's showing too much cuff, that shirt's hand gobbling.

Now why doesn't a single person responsible for any sports television broadcast see one of these photos and think, "Jeez, maybe you're not supposed to button the bottom button?"

Bush is better dressed. All of his suits are made by Oxxford.

They both look like slobs in that picture. Obama has the better frame for wearing a suit but the fabric looks terrible and I always hate the cut of his suit's lapels. He needs a complete suit makeover - the cut of his suits on the campaign trail were horrendous and unpresidential.

Both of them are totally out of their league next to modern Putin and Medvedev dress.

Only immediately around the time of the first inauguration, and that was only a set of suits.

I doubt the one the photograph is Oxxford.

I'd call it very close-run with maybe a slight edge for Bush. I don't like the more open quarters on Obama's jacket, although I know they are currently fashionable.

Obama, I think. The colours on what he's wearing work better for him than Bush's colours work for Bush.
