Burstow & Logsdail is the pinnacle of suit making.

This is a bespoke, hand tailored suit by Burstow & Logsdail from 1987. It is an exquisite garment made from heavier wool and would be an excellent suit for fall, winter and possibly the early days of spring.

The tailors had a shop together on Savile Row in the '70s until Leonard Logsdail moved to Manhattan in the 1990s to open up a satellite location. The 2009 price for a bespoke Logsdail suit from his Manhattan shop was about $6,0000.

Here's what Alan Flusser says about Logsdail in "Style and the Man":

"The Burstow & Logsdail suit is a fairly typical Savile Row affair, ranking on the stiffness scale midway between the military severity of the Huntsman cut and the sportswear softness of an Anderson & Sheppard. Its silhouette is narrow, with a defined waist and padded torso in the best tradition of British clothing."

This simply is one of the best suits you could ever own.
