Hard to think of a show like it....kind of a throwback to the action shows of the 80's that were serious with some comedy thrown in...

I've never seen it, but I saw the poster yesterday and noticed the guy's suit: single(?)-button peaked lapel with single-button (working?) cuffs. That woman is pretty smokin'.

I happened to catch a bunch of season 1 when they were doing a marathon of it on USA and I was in a hotel for a week or so. I don't have cable otherwise (not enough time to watch TV) but I thought it was great fun and I poked around for a while trying to find the DVD, which was not available at the time. Thanks for the reminder, Margaret, as I will now poke around again.

Love this show. The "how to" segments where he explains how to beat heat sensors and motion detectors are hilarious.

The vibe is different, but it reminds me of Psych a little bit.

Just saw it for the first time last night. With all of the secret agent shows that have been on in the past 6-7 years, there are several to compare it to. I'm thinking Alias for the "agent lost in the woods" motif. Someone mentioned the 80s feel of BN and The Rockford Files came to mind. Remember that show with James Gardner? Slightly shaggy PI with some colorful friends? Anyway, I like the episode enough to check out more. Gabrielle Anwar, not hard on the eyes. Wasn't she in Scent of a Woman?

Yes, she was...speaking of the Rockford Files, a local jazz station here played the theme song last weekend while I was in the car....I must have been a site rocking out to it....

Fun show. Anwar even incorporates a bit of a brogue into her character's dialogue.

The Burn Notice protagonist is kept guessing a la The Prisoner although he was fired whereas McGoohan's character tried to quit.

I saw it for the first time this past week. It reminds of a cross between Miami Vice and MacGyver: great location, good-looking babes, and a flimsy plot-line with some gadgetry thrown in. Good mindless entertainment.

Sorry to resurrect a thread from the dead, but I just had a revelation about this show.

It's essentially the exact same plot line as the A-Team. Ex-gov't elite team/spy and his quirky pals on the lam for a crime they didn't commit/burn notice he didn't deserve surviving as soldiers of fortune/soldiers of fortune in the Los Angeles/Miami underground.

If you have a problem, if noone else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire... Michael Westin.
