Burgundy or Walnut

I'm going to be getting some Aldens in a brownish color, but I'm still trying to decide between Burgundy and Walnut.

I was initially leaning toward the walnut but the salesman suggested the burgundy believing it more versatile. This will be my only brown bal for the foreseeable future. Any opinions?

Burgundy is more versatile in that the shoes can be worn with black trousers, but you should buy whichever color you prefer and would wear more often.

I'd opt for the walnut, but that's more a function of personal preference than any objective standard of versatility.
