Hi guys, I'm in the search for a burgundy or maroon wool suit. Any suggestions for a quality one around 400? I'm not slim, but would prefer a more contemporary cut.

Thanks.

MTM or scour websites, hardly the most popular garment hereabouts.

That suit actually was the one that piqued my interest though.

My hunch is you'll have to get one made or else you'll have to get VERRRRRY lucky that you come across one that also happens to fit you well and have styling you like. Granted, I haven't lived in the States in a long time, so maybe things have changed, but I don't recall too many maroon suits hanging in stores.

Sounds about right, i haven't had much luck locating one. It is an unusual color choice, but I thought I'd ask the forum just in case.

Hopefully someone will turn something up for you. I just had a maroon sportscoat made, but I also am picky about style details as well, so there was no hope of me finding one OTR.

Bachrach has exactly what you are looking for I think. I saw a burgundy suit in the store window as I was walking the mall today.

Good hunting
