Burberry Trench

I've got my mind set on a Burberry trench and I was wondering if people could help me choose one which would suit me best.

A bit about myself and my taste - I'm 6ft dead on and skinny. I think I want a short double breasted trench in black. Would a black trench suit someone with tanned skin (I'm Indian).

Here are my choices:

The top two are my favourites. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I think you already decided on getting a short one which excludes No.3.

I would definitely go with one in taupe rather than black/navy, since it is something you rather wear in late spring, summer and early fall. Assuming that the only difference between No. 1 and No. 2 is color, I'd vote for No.2.

#1 looks great. I like dark blue much better than black. It all really depends on how you normally dress though.

I like both taupe and sage but worry the look a bit feminine. Ink might be a nice change though.

I dress pretty casually normally, light colours in general except for jeans/trousers.

I take it most people don't think Prorsum is worth the extra £450?

When you are buying Burberry Prorsum, you can be sure that you are paying for the quality.

Not only that they are the only line which mostly made in Italy, but also runway pieces and highest end of Burberry line.

They are really expensive though. I cannot personally afford it even if it goes on sales for 70 percent discount!

The prorsum is excellent quality and you'll exude wealth. That first one is amazing.

The second one may be more wearable in casual situations. I think it'd look better on someone with a darker complexion.

If you can afford it, go for the first, but if you're considering price, try the second and if it doesn't "wow" you return it. I have many Brit items and they work well. I also have a few Prorsum items and they work very well.

How warm do these keep you in general?

Obviously I don't expect it do the job for a snow storm but will it be ok 90% of the time in the UK?
