Do you know whether they have a special line made up specifically for the outlets?

I went to Nordstrom Rack in Oak Brooks, IL. before Black Friday last year and they had plenty of Burberry Trenches on sales. However, they seem to be for semale customers.

I actually know something about exclusive Burberry outlet items. One of the insiders told me that only some of the Burberry polos were made specifically for outlet stores.

Nowadays most, if not all, of the merchandise at outlets is made specifically for the outlet stores. This is from talking directly with the managers of the stores: Brooks Brothers Outlet (346, but you won't see any "golden fleece" or "black fleece" merchandise there; Ralph Lauren Outlets - no purple or ble label there, Saks Off Fifth - same sort of thing. NM-Last Call - same, e.g. Hickey Freeman suits - you are unlikely to find a Madison line, most likely the lower quality Ltd. line. Nordstrom, similar. The outlet stores are no longer a place to send overstock for the most part - they are, and have been, a new profit center for the store chains, generally selling lower quality merchandise than the mainline stores.
