    Hi there,

I'm looking to get a bespoke Burberry style trench, without paying the Burberry price (bespoke or OTR). I'm actually looking to do this for my fiance so I'm looking for an tailor that can do women's style as well. Any suggestions?

eBay is an option, but my girlfriend has tried on some before trenches at the Burberry store, but the fit isn't all there. So I know they have Bespoke option, but that's even more expensive than OTR. I'm hoping there are some SF recommend tailors that do trench coats as well.

I'm in Toronto, Canada? Looks like you're in the UK? I make it out to London once or twice a year for business, but she doesn't normally tag along. Not sure if Saville Row is in my budget either.

hum... I don't know. There is not much choices in Canada except to go to Holt or Harry to get Burberry. From personal experiences, Burberry London trench coats has some weird measures depending on the model and where it was made. You might be better off trying it on first before buying. As for tailoring, you should be able to find some good tailors around the GTA to mod the coat.

I was afraid that was the only option. I know there are sales at some of the US Burberry outlets here and there, if and when we do some cross border shopping. I was hoping there's an online tailor starting to do some focus on coats and outerwear. I know Indochino has some options, but they are men only.

Can modern Burberry trench coats be taken in at the chest and waist without problem?

Ah, Milano...I was there last year, but only for one day for business and spent the rest of my time in Roma. Hopefully, next time I will be there longer.

Milano is fantastic but it is a hidden city, you need to know where to go to understand it. Many people come here for shopping and fashion, but that is only a part of the city. The old historical centre is fabolous with its own little narrow streets..
