Burberry cashemere blazer quality / value?

Anyone have general thoughts on the quality and construction? Thanks

Burberry has quite a few factories around the world so I imagine it would depend on which one of these factories its made in. A lot of their suits and blazer I see in the Burberry Store are made in Canada. Inside the pocket you will see a label sewn in that says it was made by workers of the "Unite Here" union. I got one of these blazers on a good deal and so far it is pretty good. Nothing spectacular but I wear it often and it's held up nicely. It has a good cut and fit me perfect OTR.

I imagine anything made in England is probably better. Then there is everything in between from the stuff made in Spain, China, Turkey, etc.

Really need more info on this blazer to be sure.

okay thanks. this particular blazer was in Saks. Didn't get a close look at the tag. Original msrp around $1150 or $1195. Pretty nice slim fit.

IIRC, a lot of Burberry blazers/suits are made my Hickey Freeman, just not quite up to their mainline standards (ie Madison etc.), and often with a slightly slimmer fit. I think many of the Burberry offerings that are made in the USA are half-canvassed, along the lines of the Hickey Freeman ltd. found at various outlets.
