Hey guys, I hope this is the right place to post this. I am just graduating and will be starting work in september as an accountant getting my CA (CPA for Americans). The office is business casual except for special events such as meeting with clients and what other events that would require a suit to be worn.

I currently own one charcoal two-button suit, a nice white dress shirt, slime black tie, and a pair of black dress laced-up dress shoes. My plan is to buy a couple dress pants, shirts and blazers that I can mix and match plus one more suit (whatever would be the best value-adding in addition to my charcoal suit). Any help on what to type of clothes to buy would be much appreciated

You don't say where you live or mention your coloring and those things have something to do with what you should acquire but, that aside, I recommend you pick up a solid navy suit and a blue blazer with a pair of gray flannels and a pair of tan cavalry twill trousers to mix and match with the blazer. The flannels are cool weather trousers and the twill should be lighter weight. A pair of brown slipon shoes would be good complement to the blazer and tan trousers.

Will - can you put a link to what you would call tan -or some shades of brown/tan? - if you can be bothered. (you might have an example on your site?)

I ask because tan seems to mean different things to different people. There does appear to be a difference in what USA and UK people call tan. I've seen people refer to tan as anything ranging from brown through to almost yellow and beige.

edit::Theres a useful chart of colours on wiki :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tan_(color)

I'm not sure it is that useful actually - at least on this monitor/screen.

Pick a color of brown that you like. I personally prefer lighter colors of brown (more casual) for slipons (casual shoe). I agree on the navy suit.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I live in Toronto and have a medium - light skin tone (assuming thats what you meant by colour).
